From Sinseoldong station, take subway to City Hall station (Line 1)

Follow the signs to transfer to Line 2, alight at Hapjeong station (Line 2) after 5 stops
3.
Get out at Exit 2, you will find a bus halte on the right side of Exit 2
4.
Wait for a bus no. 2200 to Paju Heyri Art Village at the bus stop near Exit 2
5.
Get off at Heyri bus stop, and you will find the entrance gate.

This is a place you can visit for relaxing and strolling around, Korean artists of various specialties such as writers, painters, actors, architects and musicians constructed the cultural town of Heyri. There are galleries, exhibition halls, museums, theaters, art shops, book stores, guesthouses, restaurant, and cafe that you can visit. No admission fee needed but some exhibitions/galleries need fees to enter.

Go back to Hapjeong station by bus no. 2200 from Heyri bus stop

From Hapjeong station, follow the signs to take subway to Chungjeongno station (Line 2)

Upon arrival in Chungjeongno station, follow the signs to transfer to Line 5 Jongno 3(sam)ga station (Line 5) after 2 stops
4.
Follow the signs to transfer to Line 3, alight at Gyeongbokgung station (Line 3) after 1 stop
5.
Get out from Exit 5

You will find Gyeongbokgung Palace right away after exiting from exit 5

Looking around one of biggest and famous historical site in Seoul. You can also enjoy strolling around by wearing a rented hanbok (traditional korean costumes) in Gyeongbokgung. You also can see their troops doing a ceremony which attracts foreign tourists, but they only doing it at certain times.

Located at the center of the 600-year-old historic city of Seoul, you can see the beautiful scenery of Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukaksan Mountain. There is the statue of King Sejong at the center. Enjoying Seoul Scenery from Namsan Tower

A great place to see the great Seoul panorama from above. There are colorful padlocks with name of couples, you can lock your padlocks there and write something about your other half or your crush :p If you just want to visit until the padlocks area the you don't need to pay but you must pay if you want to go up to the tower, but it's worth it as you can see Seoul from different corners. You can enjoy some facilities like restaurants and digital observatory at the tower.

Walk back to the same direction when you go to Namsan cable car, enter Exit no. 3 Myeongdong station

Take subway to Hoehyeon station (Line 4) which is is right after myeongdong station

Get out from Exit 5

To reach Kalguksu Alley, enter Gate no. 6 after exiting from exit 5 and take a left after 10 meters.

You'll see a plastic, see-through door that marks the beginning of Kalguksu Alley.

Shop Traditional Korean souvenirs and Have a Dinner at Namdaemun Market

Namdaemun Market is the largest traditional market in Korea with shops selling various goods. If you want to find various kind of traditional Korean souvenirs with more affordable prices compared to other places, this is the right place for you. They sell various products such as clothes, toys, stationery, fine arts, accessories, and many more. Namdaemun Market is even open overnight, from 11:00pm to 4:00am. Don't forget to try Korean traditional foods at Kalguksu Alley for your dinner!
